Cakes

Nothing says “Happy Birthday” quite like the humble layer cake. All cakes are 2 layers, made from scratch for each order, and include an inscription and simple design (beaded border; polka dots; stripes; flowers: add $6). Approximate servings appear in parentheses, and will be greater with 3 layer cakes.

Cupcakes

These cakes-in-hand are wonderfully nostalgic and delicious. Combine any of the basic cake flavors and frostings. Sprinkles or sugar pearls, add $2 per dozen.

Cupcakes can be decorated with flowers, initials, letters, polka dots, etc.

Specialty cupcakes: strawberries and whipped cream, lemon (with curd and cream cheese frosting), german chocolate, or coconut (fresh in season).

All are 3 or 4 layers each and can be inscribed (unless otherwise noted). Add $6 to standard cake pricing.

  • Mocha Decadence  devil’s food cake, chocolate ganache, and espresso buttercream;

  • Lemon Zing  yellow cake, lemon curd, and lemon cream cheese frosting;

  • Chocolate Mousse  this cake is rich but not too sweet. Nearly a pound of bittersweet chocolate goes into the mousse, in and around layers of dark chocolate cake, coated in chocolate shavings;

  • German Chocolate  light chocolate cake with sticky pecan/coconut filling (no inscription);

  • Coconut  sweet gooey coconut filling and mounds of fluffy marshmallow-like meringue frosting (no inscription).
